The Bach Quark 30 is a versatile backpack, suitable for both hiking and climbing. It is one of the brand's lightest models, without compromising on comfort and durability. It weighs 890 grams, but when stripped of its accessories, it weighs only 650 grams.
The backpack has a detachable flap with an inner and outer zipped pocket, two expandable side pockets, a compartment for the water bag and four drawstrings with numerous attachment points available. The interior volume is zippered and the extension offers an additional 10 litres of volume.
The minimum weight of the Quark 30 is achieved by the lightweight Cordura fabric of 100 mm. The fabric is made of 500 denier on the exposed parts to ensure robustness.
The back is equipped with the Bach Shield carrying system. This is optimised to remain comfortable up to a load of 15 kg. It offers ventilation, carrying comfort and lightness. It consists of an aluminium rail and a back plate made of HDPE (high density polyethylene), slightly curved to ensure rigidity and ventilation, as well as a taut mesh and EVA foam to ensure comfort. The shoulder straps and hips are also padded with EVA foam.
