The Dream Island 35° from American manufacturer Big Agnes is a sleeping bag designed for two people with a filling made of recycled synthetic fibres.
The principle of this double sleeping bag is simple: instead of pairing two sleeping bags, you only have one! This has the advantage of carrying only one sleeping bag instead of two (weight saving) and avoids heat loss from zips.
The Dream Island optimises sleeping for two:
- The sleeve is integrated into the sleeping bag: you can slide your mattress onto the back of the bag. This system increases comfort as the mattress will no longer slide under your back. Suitable for large mattresses: 127 cm wide x 198 cm or 64 cm wide x 198 cm
- 2 side zips: you can get out of the sleeping bag without disturbing your partner. With protective padding.
- Individual collar to prevent heat loss and cold air from entering the bag.
- Internal pocket at the hood: you can slip a pillow or clothes inside to turn it into a comfortable pillow.
Big Agnes only communicates the comfort temperature limit of 2°C. According to our experience, the comfort temperature is about 8°C for this sleeping bag.
