The Bright as Day 6000 lamp from the Norwegian brand Moonlight is disproportionately powerful. Its 7 LEDs can provide a constant brightness of 6000 lumens without any loss of light. To provide such a light, it has a large battery that allows full power to be used for an hour and a half. In economy mode of 375 lumens, the equivalent of a regular headlamp, it has an autonomy of 13 hours. The lamp has 4 power levels, plus 2 flashing modes, fast or slow.

• 25 % of the power: 1250 lm, autonomy: 7 hours


• 5% of power: 375 lm, autonomy: 13 hours

The light on the ignition button indicates the remaining battery level, green: 100 to 75%, blue: 75 to 50%, yellow: 50 to 25% and red: 25 to 0%. At 15 % remaining, the lamp automatically switches to the 25 % level.

With its 4 cells, the li-ion battery has a capacity of 6400 mAh and a voltage of 14.8V. It is protected in a rigid shell with loops and can be attached to a bicycle frame. It is supplied with a one-metre extension cable and a mains charger. The cables are aimed at each other to prevent disconnection. For optimum performance, the Bright as Day 6000 is equipped with a fan to cool the LEDs to prevent overheating. The electronic components are located in the power control unit which is remote, away from the heat source.

The lamp is protected against the vagaries of the weather. With its IP67 protection, it is dustproof and waterproof up to one meter. The Bright as Day 6000 has been designed for the most intense night-time activities. It is compatible with all GoPro accessories thanks to the GoPro QuickClip mounting system. It can be attached to a comfortable headband (included), a bike mount (optional), a helmet mount (optional) or any other QuickClip type mount.
