The Pluton UL 40 from Big Agnes is a sleeping bag filled with 227 grams of duck down. The brand only communicates the comfort limit temperature at 4°C, but in our experience, the comfort temperature is around 7°C for this sleeping bag.
It weighs only 454 grams and forms a cylinder of ∅15 x 27 centimetres in its carry bag, or 4.8 litres. It can be further compressed with a strap compression bag (not supplied), down to 2 litres. It will then be minimalist and almost fit in a pocket. Its down load orients it for summer use, for warm destinations or nights in a refuge. The DownTek down is water repellent and the Pertex Quantum Ripstop fabric is water repellent.
