The Star Fire UL 30 from Big Agnes is a sleeping bag filled with 482 grams of duck down. This down filling allows it to achieve a comfort temperature of 2°C. It is optimised to have a high compression ratio and to fit very small in the backpack. It is supplied with a simple drawstring compression bag, but with the use of a strap compression bag it can be compressed to 3.2 litres. To do this it has a 102 centimetre half zip, a non-compressible part of a sleeping bag.
The DownTek down is water-repellent and the fabric is made of very thin and light Pertex Quantum Ripstop, which is water-repellent. The hood and neck drawcord can be tightened or loosened with a single hand. The construction with Insotect Flow vertical inserts allows the jacket to follow the contours of your body and offer a more comfortable fit.
