Rab Andes Infinium 800

Rab's Andes Infinium 800 sleeping bag has been optimized to offer an excellent warmth to weight to bulk ratio. It is filled with 800 grams of RDS-certified hydrophobic European goose down of 800 cuin. The brand doesn't disclose a comfort temperature for its extreme cold sleeping bags, but from our experience, it's around -12/-15°C.

The TILT technology, seen in the silver highlights inside the sleeping bag, reflects heat back to the body. By reducing heat loss by up to 32%, TILT technology significantly improves thermal insulation without compromising on compressibility, weight or breathability. The partitions are trapezoidal in shape to limit heat loss as much as possible. Its horizontal compartments limit the sliding of the down, and the vertical ones at the level of the torso ensure a better thermal distribution.

The Andes Infinium 800 has a Gore-Tex Infinium Windstopper outer fabric on the face and feet for increased water and wind resistance while still being breathable.

It has a full-length YKK 5 zipper with anti-snag reinforcement and a double slider. This one is lined with a consequent anti-cold flap. A generous collar that ensures insulation at the neck. Inside, the Andes Infinium 800 has a small zippered pocket and comes with a storage house, as well as a waterproof roll-up compression bag.
