The Samaya2.5 from the French brand Samaya Equipment is a revolutionary tent designed for two and a half people, or more concretely room for equipment. It is a single-wall tent with a 3-layer membrane, a breathable waterproof fabric as for waterproof jackets. It has a waterproofness equivalent to a water column of 10,000 mm and a breathability of 40,000 g/m²/24h. By using this technology, Samaya gets rid of the bad reputation of the single-wall tent, which is synonymous with condensation.

With a single-wall tent, the weight is considerably lighter. This very spacious 4-season tent with a volume of 2.6 m3 weighs only 1.6 kg. It has a surface area of 200 x 210 cm and a height of 120 cm. It is equipped with two large pockets and a third one at the top. In addition to its breathable fabric, the Samaya2.5 has ventilation windows with zip fasteners on the top.

The Samaya2.5 tent is at the cutting edge of innovation. The floor is made of Dynnema, with Cordura reinforcements in the corners. The reflective guy ropes are also made of Dyneema. The structure consists of 3 DAC FeatherLite NFL 8.7 mm DAC poles. For anchoring, the tent is supplied with the latest unbreakable plastic sardines from SwissPiranha. The zips are of course made by YYK, with the weatherproof Aquaguard model. A truly robust tent.

For more space, the tent can be combined with the Samaya2.5 Vestibule (sold separately), to benefit from a large apse. This converts the Samaya2.5 into a real 3-seater tent.
