This XL version of the Luxury Outdoor Megahorn tipi can accommodate 6 to 8 people. Much larger than its predecessor, this tipi has the same technical characteristics. It has a resistant double roof made of Tafetta PU polyester and a waterproofness of a 2000 mm water column. It is also supplied with a 3000 mm Tafetta PU polyester floor mat and a 240-290 cm telescopic mast. The Megahorn XL is designed for use in 4 seasons.
The double roof has three ventilation windows equipped with mosquito nets, they can be opened or closed as desired from the inside. Two are located at the bottom and one on the top. It has two large doors, each with a second screen door. A snow skirt runs around the tipi and on the upper part there is a hatch for a chimney flue when using a wood stove (not supplied). It has two panels that are attached by Velcro tape. One to close the opening and a second made of siliconized fiberglass to be used with a chimney.
The floor mat is attached around its perimeter to the double roof and has an opening in its centre to allow the mast to pass through. The wood pole must not be placed on the floor mat. Many shrouds allow a perfect stability of the tipi.
