The Explore 4RC is a headlamp designed by the Swedish brand Silva. This portable lighting system is dedicated to all outdoor activities that require good lighting. This model is totally waterproof (IPX7), rechargeable (includes a 700 mAh battery) and generates 400 lumens for 2h30 at mild temperatures (20°C): 85 m lighting distance.
These technical data mean that you can use this headlamp for your outdoor activities: night walking, hiking, trail running and bivouac. In intermediate mode, it generates 200 lumens for a battery life of 3.5 hours. It also has a minimal mode at 10 lumens which is perfect for reading at short distances (at the bivouac for example) and allows to save battery.
In addition to white light, the Explore 4RC has a red light mode that preserves night vision and an orange mode that is optimal for map reading.
It features Silva Inteligent Light technology that combines a dual beam of light. This long and short range combination reduces head movement and improves vision.
