The Copper Spur 3 Platinum is part of the Crazylight range from Big Agnes. Tents that are extremely light in weight. In this version the Copper Spur weighs only 1470 grams all in all and 1330 grams in the minimalist version!
The interior has plenty of storage space: two head pockets and a 3D mezzanine pocket above the feet. Ventilation is provided by the mesh fabric covering the entire inner. It is very well suited for hot weather.
The flysheet and floor are made from ultra-lightweight, Ripstop nylon fabric, treated with silicone and coated with polyurethane that is waterproof to a 1200mm water column. All seams are sealed with waterproof, solvent-free polyurethane tape.
The tent can be set up in 3 ways:
- Inner + rainfly
- Inner only when the weather is nice and dry, to watch the panorama and the stars
- Rainfly + footprint (sold separately) in shelter mode to gain in lightness
