Originally created by ski guides in Western Canada, Heli Ski Female Mittens from Swedish brand Hestra are designed for very cold winter conditions. They're technical, warm, cosy and reliable, with a removable lining for added versatility. They are slightly narrower than the unisex version to fit women's hands better.
The inside of the hand and thumbs are covered in impregnated goatskin leather, which provides a good grip when using poles.
The top of the hand is made from waterproof, windproof and breathable 3-layer Triton polyamide fabric.
The cuffs ride up high and are adjustable with a Velcro fastening and a drawcord at the top of the cuff, preventing snow and cold from getting in.
The Hestra Heli Ski Female Mitt has a removable lining so you can dry your mitt properly or vary the options with warmer or cooler mittens, or just the over-mitt depending on the weather conditions.

- Each mitt has a wrist strap so you don't lose them.
- The snowlock fastening keeps the cuffs high enough to keep out the snow and cold.
- A small snap hook lets you attach the gloves to each other or to your bag using an eyelet.
- A small tube of leather balm is supplied with these gloves to keep them in good condition.
- The mittens can be combined with other linings.
- The cut is slightly curved for comfort and grip.
