Hestra Army Leather Extreme Mitt

The Army Leather Extreme Mitt from Swedish manufacturer Hestra are tough mittens designed for extreme cold. They consist of a pair of mittens and a removable lining.

The removable G-loft lining provides excellent thermal insulation, even in wet conditions. It attaches to the mitt with Velcro. It is machine washable, and can be purchased separately from Hestra.

The palm of the outer mitten is made of goatskin leather to guarantee a good fit and, above all, excellent resistance over time. It rises to the top of the fingers for protection against cold and snow. A leather care balm is supplied with the mittens. The other inserts are made of Softshell, a wind- and water-resistant fabric with good ventilation properties.

The mitten comes up fairly high on the forearm and features an easy-to-use tightening system. So you're protected from any thermal bridges. The wrist is tightened by an elastic band, and an external strap optimizes adjustment. All adjustable with one hand.

Army Leather Extreme Mitt mittens feature a removable cuff to secure the mittens to the wrists. A snap hook allows the 2 gloves to be fastened together for easy retrieval from the bottom of the backpack.
