The Platypus Quickdraw Microfilter System is a water filter with a 0.2 micron hollow fibre filter membrane. It removes 99.9999% of bacteria and 99.9% of protozoa. It can filter up to 3 litres of water per minute.
The filter is compact, light and robust. It fits in your pocket and weighs only 95 grams with the 1 litre flexible water tank. It has a robust outer layer of non-slip thermoplastic polyurethane and an inner layer of polyethylene with no aftertaste. The nipple is protected by a protective and clean cap.
The Quickdraw Microfilter has a double internal and external thread on the back. It is compatible with Platypus water bottles, pouches and tanks: Platy Hoser, Platy 1 and 2 litres, Platy SoftBottle and Platy Water Tank. It is also compatible with Smartwater type water bottles and classic water bottles with a 28 mm neck.
Cleaning is simple and easy. Simply shake the filter off a water bottle or run water against the filter. It is supplied with a 1 litre Platypus SoftBottle.
