The Gomboy Curve Outback Edition from Silky is a folding saw made from sturdy, quality materials. This versatile Gomboy is designed to saw firewood for a campfire at the campsite, while hiking or in bushcraft.
This special version was designed to meet the expectations of hunters and bushcrafters. It features a thick, rigid saw blade to which Silky has applied a black coating; a unique blend of nickel and tin that increases the life of the blade and provides excellent cutting performance. The dark, non-reflective color makes this saw particularly suitable for tactical operations.
The medium tooth design makes it suitable for cutting logs as well as for precise sawing.
The curved blade is easy to handle and holds the saw in the cut. The blade can be easily and firmly locked in two sawing positions. When bent, the Gomboy's teeth are completely hidden in the handle.
The wood/plastic composite handle absorbs vibrations and offers a comfortable grip. The feel of the handle is a bit harder than the rubber handle of the classic Gomboy, but offers more grip with greasy substances.The hole in the handle offers the possibility to attach a carabiner or a rope to the saw.
The Gomboy Curve Outback Edition is delivered in a transparent hard case with belt holder. The bottom is equipped with a notch and two holes to drain off moisture and saw dust.
