Big Sky Insulite Insulated Pouch

The Insulite Insulated Pouch from Big Agnes is a pouch lined with insulation to protect whatever it is, from heat or cold. Insulation is provided by 60 g/m² Primaloft fiber and reflective fabric. It functions as a freezer bag or cooler.

The Insulite Insulated Pouch has multiple uses.

• At the bivouac, for your freeze-dried or homemade meal in a zip-lock, so that your meal doesn't get cold during the 10 minutes of rehydration, especially in winter.


• During the day, to protect food or equipment (e.g. batteries) in hot weather, such as a desert trek or heatwave.


• At night in winter, to protect your electronic equipment from the cold inside.


• As an isothermal cover for your water bottle or water pouch, during the day to keep your water from getting too hot, or at night in winter to keep it from freezing.


• As a cooler with an ice pack, to carry your cans on a picnic.

The isothermal pouch is available in 3 sizes.

• Small: 20 x 20 cm with velcro closure, designed to hold 1 freeze-dried dish (Voyager, MX3, Firepot, a little too small for Trek'n Eat), 1 liter zip-lock or 2 cans.


• Medium: 25 x 25 cm with velcro closure, designed to hold 2 freeze-dried dishes (Voyager, MX3, Firepot, Trek'n Eat), 1 large home-made dish, 1 1-liter water bottle (Nalgene type) or 3 cans.


• Large: 30 x 30 cm (closed), 40 x 40 cm (open) with roll-up closure, holds up to 6 cans.
