Exped Sim 3.8

The Sim 3.8 from Exped is a warm and comfortable self-inflating mattress. It can be used at base camp, in a camper van, in a utility vehicle or to make your loved ones sleep comfortably at home. It has a thickness of 3.8 centimetres.

The mattress is insulated with synthetic foam and is pleasant to the skin and can be used all year round. The mattress has an R-Value of 4.6, calculated with the new ASTM F3340-18 standard, for a comfort temperature down to -15°C. This open cell foam absorbs air when the inflation valve is open. This is what makes the Sim 3.8 self-inflating!

It is equipped with 2 flat valves, one for inflation (air intake) and one for deflation. These valves do not protrude from the mattress, so they do not interfere with the sleeper.
