This water filter features 2 technologies:

Hollow fibers: a reliable way to remove pathogens, including viruses, from the murkiest of waters. As water passes through these hollow fibers, harmful microbes and dirt are physically trapped and removed.
Activated carbon: Reduces chemical content and unpleasant odors and tastes.

Easy to clean: this water filter has a purge hose that allows the system to be flushed to clean it and restore efficient flow. The Gravity Purifer comes with an adapter that is compatible with a wide range of bottles (sold separately).
