The Wickiup 5 by Bach is an ultra-light tipi with an excellent space-to-weight ratio. It consists of three elements: an inner chamber, a flysheet and a central pole.
To achieve this comfortable lightness/interior volume ratio, Bach uses high quality materials:
- Gorlyn 20 denier high tenacity nylon 6.6 (yarn thickness): lightweight fabric offering good tensile strength - Silicone coating on both sides.
- Aluminum DAC central mast
The Bach Wickiup 5 is a double-wall shelter designed for 3-season use.
Asymmetrical design: the central pole is not positioned in the center of the tipi. On one side of the pole, the sleeping area is 240 cm long. On the other side, a large apse allows you to store your equipment in a dry place and to cook in bad weather.
Comfort: good habitability for 5 people.
Ventilation : mesh fabric on the top of the inner tent + opening on the outer tent (at the tip of the tipi).
Quick and easy to pitch (not self-supporting) thanks to the unique pole system. Set up the chamber first, insert the central pole and then connect the flysheet.
