The Makke Lt Ms Pant from Swedish brand Lundhags is lighter and more stretchy than the other models in the Makke range. They're suitable for warmer conditions and, with their close-fitting cut, are extremely comfortable. It's made from a blend of cotton and stretch polyester, giving you plenty of freedom of movement.
If you start to get hot during your hike or outdoor activity, a long zip on the outside of each thigh provides good ventilation.
The waistband has Velcro adjustment for a better fit, and stretch at the buttocks and knees improve flexibility when you're on the move.
These trousers have two pockets on the waist and another on the right thigh. All have a mesh lining for better ventilation. All pockets are secured with zips.
The lower leg, at ankle level, is tightened with an adjustable drawstring.
And for the record, the name Makke comes from the Makkene mountain, a peak almost 1,300 metres high in Offerdal in Jämtland, Sweden.
