Lundhags Makke Ws Pant

The Makke Ws Pant from Swedish brand Lundhags is designed for adventurous women. With their close-fitting cut, they are extremely comfortable and, above all, highly functional.

The materials they're made from vary according to their location, so they're always more comfortable to wear and more resistant in sensitive areas.

The waistband has two Velcro fastenings for fine adjustment, plus belt loops.

Stretch in the buttocks and knees improves flexibility when you're on the move.

On the front and thighs, a blend of organic cotton and recycled polyester offers strength and durability.

Scholler-Keprotec reinforcements protect the bottom of the trousers when the terrain is abrasive. These reinforcements are made from Kevlar fibre and are naturally resistant to abrasion and tearing.

These trousers have 4 pockets, 2 on each side of the top of the trousers with a mesh lining for ventilation and 2 others on the thighs. These two large thigh pockets are gusseted, giving you plenty of room to store your gear safely. Zips secure all the pockets, and the right thigh pocket even has an internal phone pocket.

If you're really hot, there are ventilation holes on the inside of the thighs.

At the bottom of the legs, a large zipped opening makes it easy to slip the trousers on, even when wearing heavy shoes. At the ankle, three press studs allow you to adjust the width of the trousers to suit your shoes, and the little hook that attaches to the laces keeps the trousers firmly in place.

And for the record, the name Makke comes from the Makkene mountain, a peak almost 1,300 metres high in Offerdal in Jämtland, Sweden.
