The opinion of Aventure Nordique
The Wolverine 20° from Big Agnes is a hiking sleeping bag for children. The brand name indicates -7°C. Please note that this is the comfort limit temperature; its comfort temperature is around 0°C (see footnote). It features FireLine Core Eco synthetic fiber insulation.
The Wolverine 20° sleeping bag has a half-zipper with a hook-and-loop fastener, lined with an anti-cold flap. The hood is enveloping and the collar generous. Underneath, it's equipped with the PadLok system, which allows a mattress (51 cm wide) to be slid on and secured, enabling even the most restless to stay comfortably on their mattress all night long.
The sleeping bag comes with a carry bag, and for storage at home, it folds into the PadLok system.

Additional information | The European standard EN13537, which assesses the comfort temperature of a sleeping bag, does not apply to children's models. As children are more sensitive to the cold, it's normal for their sleeping bag to offer more insulation than an adult model, for the same recommended temperature of use. This takes into account the need for pajamas, and may vary according to the child's age/corpulence/sensitivity. Be vigilant and always allow for a safety margin. Big Agnes communicates a comfort limit temperature, not a comfort temperature. In our experience, you can use it down to around 0°C. |
