The Hodback DM (Mini) Avalanche Shovel is a snow shovel with a telescopic handle and an ergonomic D-shaped grip.

In emergency and rescue situations, the deployment of this snow shovel is fast. The telescopic handle can be adjusted from 30° to 100° without removing the bucket: simply press the pin and turn the shovel. The ergonomic D-shaped handle increases leverage and provides a good grip with mittens.

The cold forged and hardened aluminum shovel withstands the impact of every bucket strike. The shovel's flat blade is ideal for conducting snow searches.
