Acapulka Expedition Tour 170

The Acapulka Expedition Tour 170 is the pulk designed for expeditions in the Arctic and Antarctic. It is dedicated to long journeys and offers a large loading capacity: 600 liters. You can carry any type of equipment for leisure or professional use. This model has proved its worth during expeditions to the North Pole and the South Pole.

Technically, it is robust, durable and carefully crafted and quality materials. Acapulka did not compromise in terms of choice and material processing.

At the front, its high, rounded forehead gives it an excellent gliding property in deep snow, on ice and on rough terrain. Its width of 63 cm makes it very stable.

The Cordura nylon sewn cover is tear-resistant and abrasion-resistant. It is equipped with a long zip YKK 10 mm with double slider easy to handle with gloves and mittens. On the top, the pulk is equipped with an elastic drawstring + 3 polyester compression straps + 2 carrying straps.

The continuous zipper on the cover allows easy opening / closing, which is a practical and reliable asset during storms.

Under the hull, 2 STSR runners offer optimal glide. The machine-cut edges bite better on the snow and limit slippage laterally. These slides are easily replaceable by pulling them backwards.

At the front, the pulk is equipped with steel supports designed to accommodate a rigid shafts (sold separately).
