Aclima DoubleWool Neck Gaiter

The DoubleWool Neck Gaiter from Norwegian brand Aclima is particularly suitable for very cold conditions: expeditions, ski touring or winter trekking. It protects the nose, mouth and elbow from air infiltration when pulled up.

Aclima's DoubleWool range means that two technologies have been used for this accessory, providing optimum warmth and breathability:

• The outer part is made from WarmWool, a fine, warm and stretchy weave made from 100% 200 g/m2 merino wool. It has excellent moisture-wicking properties.


• The inside is made from WoolNet, an ultra-breathable knit made from 80% merino wool and 20% polyamide, with a weight of 120 g/m2. Its mesh weave offers a very high level of breathability while keeping the warmth close to the body thanks to its air-trapping cells.

Merino wool is soft, warm and antibacterial, so there are no unpleasant odours.

The seams are flat to prevent chafing, and the back is made from a fine woven panel with less elastic to ensure a snug fit.

With a total length of 36 cm, the upper part of the Aclima DoubleWool Neck Gaiter has a wide elasticated seam so that this neck protector stays in place and doesn't slip down.
At the mouth, a triangle woven solely from WoolNet mesh makes it easier to breathe, releasing warm, moist air and preventing ice from forming.
