The Liner Wool Socks from the Norwegian brand Aclima reach halfway up the calf, making them ideal for low-top or mid-top trainers. They are a fairly thin pair of socks, made from 55 per cent merino wool, which provides excellent temperature regulation.
Merino wool has many advantages: it is breathable, soft and warm, and, above all, it is antibacterial, so it doesn’t retain odours even during intense physical activity – and it stays warm even when wet!
