The lightweight, short-sleeved WoolNet Light T-Shirt Woman from the Norwegian brand Aclima is made from 100 per cent 90 g/m² 17.5-micron merino wool. Woven in a mesh fabric, it is designed to be worn close to the body as a base layer to retain maximum warmth.
For perfect comfort, the shoulder panels are knitted in a solid knit to eliminate pressure points under the straps of a rucksack. The chest area is also covered in solid fabric on the women’s models in the WoolNet range.
Merino wool has many advantages: it is breathable, soft and warm, and above all, it is antibacterial, so it does not retain odours even during intense physical activity, and even when wet, it stays warm!
This ultralight T-shirt is ideal for strenuous activities and intense training, such as cross-country skiing, ski touring or trail running, as it dries very quickly. This does not prevent the fabric’s honeycomb structure from retaining heat.
