The Alfa Free Xplore 2.0 A/P/S GTX W are Nordic Backcountry skiboots compatible with the Rottefella Xplore binding system. They offer an excellent compromise between stability and freedom of movement.
These modern backcountry skiboots feature the latest technologies for lightness, comfort and directional control.
The upper combines Putek and Dyneema, an ultra-resistant fiber 15 times stronger than steel, guaranteeing optimum protection against abrasion while remaining lightweight. The Free features a protective Gore-Tex membrane and 200g Primaloft Gold Insulation for warmth and comfort.
The ALFA Free 2 incorporates several advanced technologies:
- BOA Fit System for a fast, precise and uniform fit.
- Quick Lace System lacing system. Zippered lacing protection.
- Articulated collar: provides lateral rigidity for greater stability and control.
- Ski/Walk mode to adapt stiffness to downhill or walking.
- Integrated Recco Rescue System, increasing your chances of being located in an emergency.
- Rottefella Xplore sole: compatible with Xplore bindings for improved foot roll and downhill stability.

Size Guide: To easily measure the length of the foot, place a piece of paper against the wall. Then place the foot (barefoot or with a thin sock) on the paper with the heel against the wall. It is important to stand upright when measuring. Put a line in front of the longest toe and measure with a ruler. Measure both feet; it is not uncommon for one foot to be larger than the other. Round up to the nearest integer to find your size.
