The Cargo Cage pannier mount from UK brand Apidura is a fork mount that provides reliable attachment for a bikepacking pannier. Apidura Expedition Cargo Cage Packs (sold separately) are perfectly suited to the Cargo Cage attachment, but other waterproof bags with universal straps can also be used.
Installation:
This bracket, made from lightweight anodised aluminium alloy ADC-12 stainless steel, attaches to the forks or the lower part of the down tube, provided they have 2 or 3 eyelets. Three 12 mm hex head bolts are included.
The length of this support is adjustable to suit most forks and loads. The bottom has an offset to help hold the load in place. Made in two parts, it is possible to use just one to save weight and for a universal fit!
Points to remember
This lightweight anodised aluminium solution increases the load capacity of your bike. The Apidura Cargo Cage is easy to fit, but requires two or three eyelets on your bike. It completes the installation of the Apidura Expedition Cargo Cage Pack.
