The opinion of Aventure Nordique

The Sierra Designs Flex Capacitor 60-80 is a backpack that can be expanded or compressed as needed. The straps placed on the full height of the backpack allow its volume to be varied. Opened to their maximum, you get a volume of 80 liters. Compressed, the backpack is only 60 litres. This ensures that the volume is always adapted to your needs during your hike, when the amount of food decreases over the days, for example.

The backpack has a Y-shaped DAC Flex aluminium frame which ensures good carrying comfort. The back is padded at the points of support with the body by EVA foam, as well as the shoulder straps and the wide hip belt. The Flex Capacitor 60-80 combines lightness and comfort.

The volume is accessed from the top via a U-shaped zipped opening. In addition to the main volume, the Flex Capacitor 60-80 has numerous pockets:

  • 2 side pockets made of stretch mesh

  • 2 stretch mesh hydration pockets on shoulder straps

  • 2 zipped pockets on hip belt

  • 1 small pocket hidden in the flap
