The Cloud 800 / 20 from Sierra Designs is an innovative sleeping bag. It has no zipper, but a large oversized flap. It slips over the shoulder, offering great freedom of movement, as well as the possibility of covering or uncovering oneself quickly during the night. Filled with 800 cuin duck down, its comfort temperature is -3°C.
The fabric cover under the sleeping bag allows the insertion of a 6.4 cm thick inflatable mattress. This device prevents slipping off the mattress during the night. On this part, the sleeping bag does not contain down, it is the mattress that provides the insulation. This system allows a great weight saving and a very important weight/heat ratio. The Cloud 800 / 20 is extremely light, 820 g in size M.
At the feet, an opening allows ventilation from below during the hottest nights. The down has been treated with a hydrophobic treatment (Dridown) to optimise thermal performance in damp conditions.
