Barents Trollheimen 4 Ultralight

The Trollheimen 4 Ultralight from Norwegian brand Barents is a lightweight tent designed for four people. This versatile three-season tent is equally comfortable on hot summer days and cool, windy nights in between seasons.

Weighing only 2,970 grams (less than 750 grams per person), this siliconized nylon tent can withstand a water column of 3,000 millimeters on the flysheet and 5,000 millimeters on the groundsheet. Wind resistance is also very good thanks to the shape, the 9-millimeter diameter aluminum frame, and the high-performance guy rope system.

When conditions are poor, the vestibule is pleasant thanks to its dimensions: 232 x 180 centimetres. It has two entrance doors, so there is always a door sheltered from the wind. The bedroom has a height of 11/107 centimetres, so you can sit up in it. When the weather is better, the entire front can be opened and the bedroom door has a mosquito net. It is also possible to erect only the flysheet.

The Trollheimen can be set up quickly thanks to its three identical poles. The inner tent and flysheet can remain attached to each other for even faster pitching, especially in rainy conditions.

Ventilation is provided by the various doors, the large space between the flysheet and the inner tent, and also by the Open Air system developed by Barents, which consists of large openings at the top. The outer fabric can also be rolled up to allow more air to circulate and prevent condensation.

Inside, there are two fairly large side pockets and attachment points on the ceiling for attaching additional storage or a clothesline (not included).
