The Gold Camp 5 UL Tarp from Big Agnes is an ultra-lightweight 5 person tipi. It comes with an aluminium pole that can be adjusted from 168 to 203 cm depending on how you set it up. Set up is quick, easy and instinctive. If you are pitching the tipi in the forest, you can dispense with the pole and use the suspension loop on the outside instead.
The base of the tent is a square of 287 x 287 centimetres, enough space for 5 people. The height of up to 203 centimetres is great for dressing, packing a bag or just relaxing your legs! The interior of the teepee is equipped with numerous hooks, very practical for drying clothes, hanging your headlamp...
The 20 denier polyester ripstop fabric with polyurethane coating for waterproofing is lightweight. Both doors have a storm flap to protect you in case of rain or wind. The front door has a double zip and the back door has 2 single zips, which allows the door to be used as a canopy with 2 poles. Ventilation is via two windows in the top of the tipi.
For extra comfort or use in poorer conditions, an inner tent and footprint are sold separately.
