Inflatable Sleeping Pads for Hiking & Backpacking

Inflatable sleeping pads for hiking offer an excellent balance between comfort, packability, and weight. Easy to fit into a backpack, they provide insulation from the ground while maintaining a compact packed size, ideal for multi-day trips and lightweight travel.

Two main categories are available:

  • non-insulated inflatable pads, suitable for summer conditions
  • insulated inflatable pads, designed to reduce heat loss and improve thermal comfort in cooler to cold environments

Depending on your priorities in terms of weight and comfort, you will also find:

  • ultralight (UL) models, designed for minimalist setups
  • thicker and more structured pads, offering increased sleeping comfort

Inflation systems vary depending on the model: single or dual valves (separate inflation and deflation), with flat or screw valves for easier use in the field.

We have selected reliable and field-tested products from leading brands such as Therm-a-Rest, Exped, Big Agnes, Klymit, NEMO Equipment, and Sea to Summit.

Tip: to preserve performance and durability, we recommend using a pump or inflation sack. This prevents moisture from entering the internal structure, especially in cold conditions.
