Black Diamond's Flare is an emergency headlamp. At full power, it emits 40 lumens and a minimum of 6 lumens, providing between 4 and 15 hours of illumination. The headlamp also features a red, flashing red and SOS lighting mode.
The Flare is waterproof (withstands immersion for 30 minutes at a depth of 1 meter) and its aluminum casing is shock-resistant. It can also withstand wide temperature variations, from -17 to 43° C.
Powered by 2 batteries, it will continue to work for years to come, and can easily be kept in a first-aid kit.
