The opinion of Aventure Nordique
This footprint is a groundsheet designed to fit the Exped Cassira 1 tent. It protects the tent’s groundsheet from wear and tear, dirt and uneven ground. It also prevents you from having to place luggage stored under the awning on wet ground.
In ultra-light mode, you can combine the groundsheet with the Cassira 1 flysheet to sleep in ‘tarp mode’ and travel light!
Points to remember
The groundsheet is placed under the tent and protects the floor from wear and dirt. It is the same shape as the base of the tent and is more effective than a simple tarpaulin or emergency blanket.
