The Textile Repair Kit from Finnish brand FabPacth is a set of 6 repair patches. In the same bag, you'll find :
- 2 patches from the Extreme range (80 x 100 mm) which are highly resistant and waterproof, for repairs to garments and accessories that are most subject to wear and tear: waterproof jackets and trousers, gloves, shoes.
- 2 patches from the Stretch range (70 mm diameter), which are soft and versatile, for repairs to garments and accessories with all types of lighter, more or less stretchable fabrics (polyester, elastane polyamide, etc.): mid-layers, children's clothing, socks, etc.
- 2 patches from the Merino range (35 mm diameter), which are thin and soft, for repairs to merino wool garments and accessories: technical underwear and woollen jumpers.
They are very easy to apply and don't require any tools, so they can be used in the field. All you have to do is remove part of the protection, place the sticky part over the hole or tear to be repaired and then remove the rest of the protection. Then rub the patch well with your fingers or, better still, the back of a spoon to ensure it adheres perfectly.
These patches are wash-resistant and adhere to most textiles.
