The Extreme Black kit from Finnish brand Fabpatch is a set of 4 repair patches. Their polyamide and elastane composition makes them ultra-resistant. They are also waterproof and stretchable to fit a wide range of garments.
They are ideal for use on holes in the knees of ski or work trousers, but also on gloves and other items subject to a lot of friction.
These patches are very easy to apply and require no special equipment, so they can be applied in the field. Simply remove part of the protection, place the sticky part over the hole or snag to be sealed and then remove the rest of the protection. Then rub the patch well with your fingers or, better still, the back of a spoon to ensure it adheres perfectly.
These patches are wash-resistant and adhere to most textiles.
