Fjällräven Greenland Wax

Greenland Wax from the Swedish brand Fjällräven helps to improve the waterproofing and durability of the brand’s G-1000® garments. (Do not use on G-1000® SC fabrics). The water-repellent treatment used in the manufacture of Fjällräven garments made from G-1000® fabric wears off over time, causing the garments to lose their water-repellency.

Fjällräven Greenland Wax is an eco-friendly wax made exclusively from pure paraffin and high-quality beeswax, with no chemicals.

The brand recommends regularly applying a new coat of wax to your Fjällräven G-1000® technical garments. With proper care, your favourite items will last for years and accompany you on many adventures in the great outdoors.

Please note that Greenland Wax provides water resistance, but not waterproofing. Tightly woven fabrics offer some water resistance as it takes a while for water to seep through. However, applying Fjällräven Greenland Wax makes the fabric water-repellent (water beads on the surface).
