GearAid's Tenacious Tape Flex Patch provides a strong, durable repair to fabric or soft material. Made from tough TPU, this flexible, transparent patch resists abrasion and tears.
Its elasticity allows it to follow textile movements without cracking, ideal for repairing an inflatable mattress, tarpaulin, inflatable boat, jacket... Adheres to almost all surfaces, including boats and inflatables, rainwear, jackets, sleeping bags, vinyl, nylon, metal and plastic.
Application is quick and easy: simply remove the protective film and stick the patch to the clean, dry surface, without seams or heat. The result is a clean, discreet and perfectly watertight repair. A must-have for prolonging the life of your outdoor gear, to be kept in every repair kit.
Tenacious Tape Flex Patch does not adhere well to silicone fabrics such as silnylon or silpoly.

Silicone coatings (silnylon / silpoly), on the other hand, create a hydrophobic surface to which no standard adhesive can cling permanently. The patch will eventually peel off.
