Steripen Ultra is a reliable water purification solution. This purifier uses ultraviolet light (UV-C) to destroy the micro-organisms responsible for water-borne diseases, without the addition of chemicals or mechanical filtration.
Its OLED display shows purification instructions and battery charge status. The device is powered by an internal lithium-ion battery that can be recharged in 5.5 hours via a USB port. It treats 0.5 or 1 liter of water in 48 or 90 seconds, and its UV lamp has a life of 8,000 uses.
Compatible with bottles with a neck diameter of at least 20 mm, it's ideal for use on treks, trips and hikes. A neoprene case and USB cable are included.
Please note: Steripen Ultra is designed for clear water. Pre-filtering is recommended for water containing sediment or particles.
