The Betalock from American brand Matador is a carabiner that can be locked. It can therefore be used as a padlock.

This dual-purpose carabiner is very practical for bickpacking trips, as you don't need to bring a carabiner and a padlock. Your belongings can be secured when travelling by plane (TSA-compliant) or train. Once at your destination, the Betalock can be used to hang your water bottle from your rucksack strap or simply as a keyring.

Made from anodised aluminium, it weighs 55 g. It comes with 2 flat keys and a small ring. It is not suitable for climbing or mountaineering.
