Matador Freefly16 Packable Backpack

The Freefly 16 Packable Backpack from American brand Matador is an ultra-light backpack. With no frame, it can be completely compressed inside the small pouch supplied. Once compacted, it's no bigger than an orange.

This bag is weatherproof thanks to its watertight closures and sealed seams. The main fabric is 50 denier nylon and the bottom of the bag is 70 denier nylon. PU-treated, this bag is waterproof but not immersion-resistant.

The Freefly 16 small backpack has a main pocket with a two-way zip. On the front there's another pocket for smaller items. On the outside there are two side nets large enough for a water bottle and compression straps on the top. There's also an ice axe/pole holder on the front.

The mesh shoulder straps are breathable, adjustable and fitted with a chest belt, and there's a hypalon loop for attaching a carabiner if you want to hang a water bottle.
