The Lightweight Axe from Morakniv is a lightweight, rugged axe with a steel blade that is attached to a reinforced polymer handle. Its design makes it ideal for carrying in or on a backpack for camping, buscraft, survival, etc...
The polypropylene handle is shock resistant. It surrounds the head of the axe to make it very robust. The grip is pleasant and ergonomic. The rounded end of the handle reinforces this feeling.
To protect the blade, this camping axe comes with a leather sheath. It covers only the cutting edge.
