The outdoor map showing the area between Ylläs and Levi stretches to Lake Ylläsjärvi and Kittilä in the south and to Äkäskero and the north side of the village of Sirkka in the north. The map shows the great fell resorts of western Lapland: Ylläsjärvi and Äkäslompolo in Ylläs as well as Levi. A large part of the region shown on the map belongs to Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park.

The double-sided outdoor map can be used for hiking, cross-country skiing, cycling, paddling or snowmobile trips. The map is based on accurate topographic data and has plenty of extra information for hikers and travellers, such as various trails and their lengths, wilderness huts, lean-to shelters, eating places, accommodations and sights. More detailed urban maps of Äkäslompolo, Ylläsjärvi and Levi have been included at the scale of 1:30,000.

On the side of the map you will find the coordinates for all the wilderness huts managed by Metsähallitus in the area as well as information on magnetic declination and the coordinate system (KKJ, the Finnish National Coordinate System). The map legend is in four languages (Finnish, Swedish, English and German).
