The opinion of Aventure Nordique
The Savotta Hawu 400 is a compact wood-burning stove and is used to heat the Savotta Hawu tent and to cook. Well designed, the Hawu 400 burns wood cleanly thanks to its excellent air flow. Fresh air is sucked in at both ends. The secondary wing is preheated to the top via a duct in the door.
It is the lightest of the wood stoves made by the Finnish manufacturer. Its shape makes it extremely resistant to heat-related deformations. The top of the wood stove can be used for cooking and boiling water. The design of the legs is clever: the legs can be folded up and are designed to be stable on all types of flooring. The legs also serve as handles to hold the stove and empty it.
