Carinthia's Survival Down 1000 sleeping bag is designed for 4-season use, and is warm, sturdy and modular. It has a comfort temperature limit of -20°C, standard EN 13537 / ISO 23537. The brand doesn't disclose the comfort temperature, but in our experience, it's around -10°C. It's filled with 1000 grams of goose down, divided into H-shaped compartments to optimize loft and avoid thermal bridges.
The Survival Down 1000 is equipped with sleeves so you can put your arms out while staying warm in your sleeping bag. Velcro closures are easy to open thanks to buckled straps. The long, double-slider zipper allows you to extend your legs. By folding the bottom of the sleeping bag over at the back, using the clips, it transforms into a warm bivouac jacket and allows you to move around.
Its Shelltrans outer shell cuts wind and protects against moisture. It offers a high level of breathability. It features an anti-cold flap along the zipper and an anti-pinch strip for quick opening/closing.
