The G40 Liner from Austrian brand Carinthia is the brand's lightest sleeping bag. With a comfort temperature of 17°C, it's ideal for use in scorching conditions, or rather as a sack sheet. When stored in the integrated pocket at the end of the sleeping bag, it is very compact and weighs 480 grams.
The padding is made of G-Loft polyester. This bi-component fiber naturally forms small clusters which, like down, trap air and create optimal insulation. The advantages of this synthetic fiber are numerous: good compressibility, thermal performance even when wet, thermoregulation and ease of care.
The G40 Liner features a slit at the top right to allow the arm to be extended, and a double-slider zipper at the left that goes down two-thirds of the way. The hood has a drawstring for tightening.
