The Deuter Starlight Down is a children’s hiking sleeping bag. It offers a comfort temperature range of approximately 0 to 5°C (see note below). It has a mummy shape and its length can be adjusted to 130 or 170 centimetres.
It is filled with 500 grams of RDS-certified duck down. It is robust and perfectly suited for a children’s sleeping bag.
This sleeping bag is made with a cosy polyester inner fabric, as well as a polyamide outer fabric, which is breathable and moisture-resistant. The wraparound hood is easy to adjust thanks to its double drawcord system. It features a side zip, allowing the child to get in and out easily so they don’t feel trapped inside.
One of the key features of the Starlight Down is that it is designed with a zip extension at the foot end, which allows the length of the sleeping bag to be increased by 30 cm.

| Additional information | The European standard EN13537 which allows to evaluate the comfort temperature of a sleeping bag, is not valid for children's models. Being more sensitive to cold, it is normal that the sleeping bag has a greater insulation than an adult model, for the same recommended temperature of use. This takes into account that the child must have pyjamas and it can vary according to his age/corpulence/sensitivity. Be careful and always allow for a safety margin. Deuter does not communicate a temperature for its sleeping bags. In our experience, you can use up to about 0°C / 5°C. |
