Stoots Hekla 3

The Hekla 3 from Stoots is the lightest and most compact of the French headlamp manufacturer's outdoor range. The name Hekla refers to the active volcano in southern Iceland. No doubt Stoots wanted to make a pun on "brilliance" and build on the lamp's power, which generates 850 lumens. Enough to see you through when you're running on trails or need reliable, powerful lighting for night-time activities.

To be more precise, 850 lumens is the maximum output for a 2-hour runtime. But what's useful is that it has 4 power levels: 100 lm (30 h), 200 lm (12h), 450 lm (5h) and 850 lm (2h).

The Hekla is powered by a removable, cylindrical Easylock 18 12 Wh battery with a capacity of 3500 mAh. The lithium-ion battery is recharged via the waterproof USB-C port.

The luminous unit features :

• 3 white LEDs for mixing 2 beam widths (wide and medium), for a lighting range of up to 70 meters.


• 1 red LED to indicate battery charge level. It is also used to illuminate in fixed mode at low power and in flashing mode. This mode is ideal for map reading, so as not to disturb neighbors or wildlife. Flashing mode lets you be visible in any situation.

The Easylock concept adds versatility to this lighting system: the lamp is independent of battery, holder and strap. The lamp can be easily attached to various accessories: strap, helmet, bike handlebars...

3 lighting technologies:

1. Fixing Focus adjusts beam width according to lighting mode. This technology makes vision more comfortable and increases beam range without loss of diffusion.


2. An all-encompassing, homogeneous lighting ambience reduces visual fatigue.


3. Electronic control maintains constant power, i.e. avoids a drop in brightness depending on battery level.

Hekla 3 features an electronic lock to prevent accidental switching on during transport.
The design is robust thanks to the aluminum chassis.

This Stoots headlamp comes in black. You can customize it by choosing an additional color palette. This option is sold separately.
