SwissPiranha BF120 Tent Pegs (10 pcs) - 12 cm

SwissPiranha's BF120 tent pegs are made entirely from recycled plastic. These pegs have a much smaller environmental footprint than traditional aluminum pegs. At the end of their life, these used pegs can be recycled.

The pointed shape allows easy driving into the ground, while the X-shaped handle with sturdy saw teeth penetrates and holds in a wide range of soil conditions. The flat head maximizes resistance and holding power in all conditions by compressing the soil beneath. What's more, its flat, soft-edged design limits falls and the risk of serious injury. Notches on the inside of the head can be used to secure guy wires in a variety of ways, ensuring optimal anchorage even in strong winds.

SwissPiranha posts do not twist and can be driven directly into the ground with a foot, hammer, axe back or stone. They have no sharp edges that could damage the tent fabric.

Producing and recycling SwissPiranha tent pegs requires at least 13 times less energy than conventional aluminum pegs. What's more, a bent SwissPiranha pole can be easily restored to its original shape by placing it in the oven for 5 minutes at 160°C. Old posts can be recycled. Cleaning is very simple, as they can even be washed in the dishwasher.
